How to Sprout Nuts & Seeds - Vegetarian Diet Tips

Get your FREE 7-day Vegetarian Meal Plan from: www.KardenasKitchen.com Plus, you’ll discover the 10 foods NOT to eat on a weight loss diet. Hi, I’m Kardena Pauza from www.KardenasKitchen.com Today were going to talk about soaking sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, nuts, flaxseeds and all sorts of good things. I get a lot of questions about how to soak them, but first I want to explain why this is so important. I have these items in my food plans because they are packed full of nutrients. When you soak them, you will get more nutrition benefits from them. Soaking them releases the enzyme inhibitors and they become enzyme active which helps your body absorb and digest the nutrients. This will give your cells about 300% more nutrients which will give you more energy! I use these on a regular basis for breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner and they are very versatile as well. They are packed with healthy oils, fats and lipids that your body needs. Were going to soak the flaxseeds. You cant drain the water off of them, so well pour them into a glass bowl and add water. Each seed soaks for a certain amount of time. You want to add double the amount of water to seeds. The flaxseeds will absorb all of the water, so you will end up with a gel around them which is normal. You need to soak them about 8-12 hours. Once they have been soaked, they are ready to use. You can put a scoop in your smoothies or add them to your breakfast. These are really high in fiber which is going to help …

Digestive Enzymes, Nutrition and Your Health
July 31, 2010 on 5:43 pm | In aestetic plastic operation surgery | No Comments
Nutrition by Natalie Information about Digestive Enzymes Digestive Enzymes are enzymes that specifically work in the digestive system to facilitate the digestion, absorption, and transportation of nutrients. They also work to promote timely elimination of digestive waste products that are not of use to the body. Without enzymes, our cells would not get adequate nutrition and we would not survive. Enzymes function as catalysts to enhance and dramatically speed up biochemical reactions that occur in every one of our cells. They are only activated in water, so staying hydrated is very important for enzymes to work effectively. Enzymes must be present to ensure proper digestion of nutrients, energy production, metabolism, transportation of fluid to cells, and elimination of toxins among many other functions. Enzymes exist in foods to help our body’s breakdown what we eat. Raw, uncooked foods are the only foods that contain enzymes. Since the majority of our diets are cooked foods, we significantly limit the enzymes available in our food for digestion, thus putting more stress on our digestive systems. Some supplemental enzymes should be taken with food to enhance digestion and absorption of nutrients, whereas other supplemental enzymes should be taken on an empty stomach to support circulation, decrease inflammation, support our immune systems and combat stress. Imbalances in these factors have been scientifically proven to be associated with or the cause of numerous diseases …

Hand Position During Ab Exercises
July 31, 2010 on 3:41 pm | In aestetic plastic operation surgery | No Comments
www.scoobysworkshop.com Every time I do an ab video the subject of what to do with the hands comes up. I show how I think the hands should be held during ab exercisees and I lots of irate viewers telling me I am wrong. In this video I’m going to explain WHY the hands should be held lightly behind the head during crunches. First of all, humans evolved to walk upright with the head held high. For tens of thousands of years humans have been gathering berries, hunting. All vertical, kinda balancing our heads on top of our bodies. So When the body becomes horizontal, what happens? The head falls. To couteract this the neck muscles have to work really hard to keep the head stationary. Our neck muscsles have not evolved to support the head horizontally like those of a lion or horse. If a person stays in this position long, they will get serious muscle strain. Now I can hear you saying, “well you need to work on your neck strength” - thats TRUE but dont let that interfere with your ab workout. Strengthen you neck during your neck workout, not during your ab workout. So here is what you need to do when performing crunches. You lift up with your hands just enough so that you can relax your neck muscles and still have your head stay horizontal. You dont push so hard that your head wants to fly up and you dont let it droop. Another misconception is about leverage. Many people think that its just as good a workout to hold the hands over the abs as it is to have the hands behind the …

“I’m a little upset, but I tried my best. The weight was a big problem. I think there was maybe a 20-pound difference in weight. I’m not trying to make excuses for that, but obviously, look, I did the work. I worked very hard for this fight. I went 12 hard rounds and like I said, I’m proud to be Mexican and I was willing to die in that ring,” stated Juan Manuel Marquez as he shared his thoughts on his performance and talked about his future plans after his disappointing loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr. Check it out!
